She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Dowdy and Drusie Dowdy; her husband Melvin Nash Sr.; and her siblings, Francis, Arthur, Big Bubba, Little Teenie and Mary Ann.

She is survived by: her son Melvin Nash, Jr. (Lisa); her grandchildren, Reid (Kathleen), Brayden (Liesel), Colby (Alex), Tyler, Aaron and Levi; her great grandchildren, Madison and Benson; and her siblings, Sweet Pea, Shirley, Thelma and Big Teenie.
