He is survived by: his father Charles L. Toombs, Jr.; his wife Cheryl W. Toombs; his mother Bettie Toombs; his sisters, Karen Epps (Floyd), Laurie Rochat (John) and Kathy Rector (Jeff); and his sister-in-law Vicki Farmer (Tom). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Knights of Columbus Council 11042 c/o the Church of the Redeemer.
