He was predeceased by: his wife Ann M. Barnes; his parents, Annie M. Barnes and Leonard G. Barnes; and his sister Carolyn B. Dennette. He is survived by: his children, Rene Barnes Melton (Randy), Troy Barnes (Tammy Johnston) and Denise King (Garry); and his grandsons, Chad Melton, Blake Melton, Travis Ward and Cooper Ward.
