She was predeceased by: her husband Marshall S. Hyman, Jr.; and her grandson Michael Scott Hyman. She is survived by: her children, Ron Hyman, Scott Hyman (Bonnie) and Cathy Hyman Walsh (Edward); and her grandchildren, Melissa Cervantes (Alex), Rebecca Ferry (Spencer), Marc Hyman and Mack Edmondson (Erin Kimble).

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 4600 Cox Rd, Ste 130 Glen Allen, VA 23060.
