He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Beadles Coleman. He is survived by: his son Carroll "David" Coleman (Mary); and his grandchildren, Morgan, C. J. and Miranda. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Gethsemane Church of Christ, 5146 Mechanicsville Tpke, Mechanicsville, VA 23111.
