We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2023, Brenda Barr Nunnally of Mechanicsville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Barr and Doris Barr; and her siblings, Sonny Barr, Berkley Huffman (Larry) and Nancy Williams (Ralph).

She is survived by: her children, Kenny Nunnally (Bonnie) and Janice Murphey (Dwayne); her grandchildren, Lauren Nunnally Flynn (Matt), Cody Murphey (Valerie), Logan Murphey Bowles (Brandon), Stacey Rettig (Todd) and Brandon Roberson (Wendy); her great grandchildren, Parker, Kaleyah, Bella and Holli; her sisters, Beverly Wilson, Judy Elliott and Betty Atkinson (Richard); her sister-in-law Betty Barr; and her caregivers, Cheryl Stanley, Mary Lam and Sharon Groome. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Walnut Grove Baptist Church, 7046 Cold Harbor Rd., Mechanicsville, Va. 23111.
