It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bobby Wayne Francis of Mechanicsville, Virginia, who passed away on May 29, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Francis and Mamie S. Francis; his sister Betty F. Griffith; his nephew Geary A. Jarrett; and his great-nephew Jason Scheuerman (US Army).

He is survived by: his wife Latrelle B. Francis; his children, Steven W. Francis, Sara F. Wells (Tom) and Kathryn F. Hodge (Rickey); and his grandchildren, Magen M. Francis, Rachel W. Laubmeier (Byron), Jeremy Wells, Jackson Edwards and Grayce Edwards.
