She was predeceased by: her former husband Jesse Skinner Jr.; her parents, Lottie Cole and Hollis Cole; her siblings, Ann Okamoto and Tom Cole; and her daughter-in-law Ellen Lemons.
She is survived by: her husband Wortley Harris; her sister Joan Salmon; her daughters, Linda Cumby (Lynne) of Jesse Skinner, III, Susan Blackburn (G. L.) and Melody Skinner Edwards; and her stepsons, Tim Harris (Pam) and David Harris (Gloria).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Shalom Baptist Church in Mechanicsville, Virginia.
