With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Wernice King Robertson of Mechanicsville, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 25, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Karen; and her grandson Christopher. She is survived by: her children, Harold Robertson and Kathy Seay; her grandchildren, Ginny Ellis, Kara Greenwood, Mary Dillon, Bert Mills, Jamie Crigger, Kristen Colletti, Alex Robertson and Megan Seay; and her great grandchildren, Erika, Reed, Smith, Lizzie, Benji, Robbie and Liam.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home (8014 Lee Davis Road, Mechanicsville, Virginia 23111). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Shalom Baptist Church (8116 Walnut Grove Rd, Mechanicsville, VA 23111). A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (4000 Pilots Ln, Richmond, VA 23222).
