She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth M. Pierce; her parents, James E. Jones and Beulah E. Jones; her siblings, Benice Lee, Lawrence, Richard and Lester Jones; and her close friend Monroe Loving.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald K. Pierce (Carolyn), Kathleen Essig (John) and Suzanne Baker (Paul); and her brothers, Kenneth and Bobby Jones. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
