He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Hill Anderson, Sr. and Hallie Newton Anderson; his sister Barbara Anderson Thombs; and his brother-in-law Charles Leonard Thombs. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Wimberly Anderson; his son Jason Douglas Anderson; his daughter-in-law Anna Coleman Anderson; his grandchildren, Gracie, Caleb and Chase Anderson; and his niece Carol Thombs Evers (Dave). He is also survived by great nephews; and four nieces and three nephews; four great-great nieces and one great-great nephew.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in his honor to The American Diabetes Association.
