She was predeceased by: her grandson Robert Compton. She is survived by: her children, John Compton, Richard Compton (Cheryl), Joyce Compton and Ruth Austin; and her siblings, Louise Hooper and Charles Tate. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
