She was predeceased by: her parents, Eurid Reid McAuley, Sr. and Harriet Thomasson McAuley; her son Steven McAuley Pitts; and her brother Dr. Reid McAuley. She is survived by: her husband Roland L. Pitts; her children, Amanda Tyler (Chris) and Eric Pitts (Angie); and her grandsons, Patrick Harvey, Andrew and Thomas Pitts.
