He was predeceased by: his parents, Oakie Litton and Eugene Litton. He is survived by: his wife Bettie; his children, Sam Jr. (Cristal) and Sandy; his grandchildren, Jocelyn Woods, Austin Litton, Casey Litton and Sam Pierce; his stepgrandson Cody Perrigan; his great grandchild Paisley Litton; his stepgreat-grandson Ryder Perrigan; and his siblings, Billy, Betsy Orfield and Lou Roland (Sonny). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
