He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Yokley Tilson and Ocia Lola Moore Tilson; his daughter Sherri Tilson Stiles; and his siblings, Kelly Tilson, Paul Moore, Lola Kate Davenport, Rosella Barrett and Freda Kay Johnston.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Dianna Hunt Tilson; his daughter Regina Tilson Stiles (Ronnie); his grandchildren, John Dwayne Tiller (Marsha) and Krystina Smith; and his great grandchild Brendon Tiller. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
