He was predeceased by: his parents, Tivis Deel and Samantha Deel; his daughter Amy Lynn Hunt; his siblings, Wayne Deel, Everett Deel, Kent Deel, William Deel, Ida Ma Coleman, Barbara Yates, Faye Coleman, Martha Deel and Gladys Deel; and also Milford Deel.
He is survived by: his wife Shelby Jean Deel (Meadows) of Meadowview, VA; his children, Curtis Deel (Jennifer) of Illinois and Samantha Rae Deel of Illinois; and his sisters, Thelma Roley (Jim) and Betty Coleman. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grundy Funeral Home (22208 Riverside Dr, Grundy, VA 24614). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
