It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dare Rose Frye of Meadowview, Virginia, born in Buchanan, Virginia, who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Childress and Aeolus Childress; and her husband Roger Lee Rose. She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Wyatt (Donald R.) of Abingdon and Stephanie Blankenbeckler (Gary) of Glade Spring; her sister Sharon K. Wilder of Abingdon; her grandchildren, Callee Blankenbeckler (T. J. Widener), Courtney Bailey (Tyler) and Miranda Wyatt; her great grandchild Greyden Bailey; and her close friends, Lynna Altizer, Dennis Neal, Rick Neal and Mary Ann Bise.
