We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2023, at the age of 91, Susan Elizabeth Shelor of Meadows of Dan, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Posey Lester Shelor and Eloise Badger Newell Shelor; her siblings, Glenn D. Shelor, Joseph B. Shelor, Morgan L. Shelor, Nancy Wynn and Alice Campbell; and her nephew Jay Shelor.

She is survived by: her daughter Kathryn S. Higgs (Dale Higgs); and her sister Edna Ann Williams of Roanoke. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
