With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Pat Lloyd Knowles of Meadows of Dan, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 16, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Early Knowles and Luemma Puckett Knowles; his daughter Brenda K. Blake; his grandchildren, Jerry Knowles and Makenzie Mayhew; his siblings, David E. Knowles, Jr., Stella Harris and Kathleen Layman; and his half-brothers, Roy E. Knowles and Jack Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Adkins Knowles; his children, Kenneth Knowles (Darlene) of Meadows and Judi Mayhew of Norfolk; his son-in-law Matthew Blake of Collinsville; his grandchildren, David Knowles (Jessica), Andrew Bowman (Lindsey), Josh Bowman (Sam), Nick Bowman (Tori) and Kaitlyn Mayhew; and his great grandchildren, Dylan Knowles, Savanna Knowles, Maci Knowles and Ashlynn Knowles. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
