He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Hooker and Vera Pack Hooker; his wife Ruby Faye Bowman Hooker; and his siblings, Lessie Smart and Paul Hooker.
He is survived by: his daughter Charisse; his son-in-law Bryan Hall of Meadows; his grandchildren, Allysa Jordan and Masun Hall; and his siblings, Thelma Puckett of Meadows and Lloyd Hooker of Meadows. He is also survived by four nieces.
