He was predeceased by: his parents, Lena Belle Pack and Robert Pack. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Pack; his daughter Kathy Pack (Gary) of Hillsville, VA; his grandchildren, Justin Marshall (Jessi), Brandon Marshall (Brianna), Courtney Shelor (Austin) and Bobby Marshall (Sherri); and his great grandchildren, DJ Painter (Cheyenne), Harley McGrady, Colton Shelor and Jaxson Shelor.
