He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Lee Bowman and Margaret Frances Culler Bowman; and his siblings, Bertha Bowman Thomas, Vance Turner Bowman, Walter Lee Bowman and Clarence Jefferson Bowman.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Carolyn Fain Bowman; and his children, Tracey (Ernest Hopkins), Amanda (Preston Hill), Kevin (Becky Goins) and Jason Goins. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
