She was predeceased by: her parents, Opal Agnes Anthony Phillips and Vernie Alvin Phillips; her husband Rufus James White; her sister Mary Lee White; and her son-in-law Rick Shores.
She is survived by: her children, Libby Hamlin (Jimmy) of Dobson, Pat Shores (Robin) of Thurmond, R. J. and Terry White (Beth) of Dobson; her grandchildren, Tricia Gambill (Craig), Lori Cogdill (Jason), Brad White (Tara Caudill), Cameron Cockerham (Matt), Suzanne Borandi (Jeff), Allison W. Williams, Brooke Branch (Jeremy) and Blake White (Kristen); and her great grandchildren, Thomas, Hampton Cogdill, Bella, Shepherd Branch, Reid Cockerham, Luke Williams and Remi White.
