He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gaston "Gat" and Lovie Mae Cundiff Hodges. He is survived by: his wife Eva Weiss Hodges; his sons, Robert (Karen), Greg (Celia) and Eric; his grandchildren, Audra (Jeremy), Russ, Jarrett, Cody (Stacey) and Lauren; and his great grandchildren, Emerson, Roe, Jud, Rhett and Rylan.
