She was predeceased by: her parents, Arther Dewey Wood Jr. and Helen Fitzgerald Wood Fitzgerald of Virginia; her son Kenny Banks (Sterling "Bunk" Fitzgerald); and her brothers, Waymon Wood, Leon Wood and K. T. Fitzgerald.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Banks; her son Donnie Banks; her siblings, Ann Helms (Richard) of Meadows, Lynn Dalton of Lynchburg, VA, Carolyn Belcher (Linwood) of Meadows, Robert Wood (Arlene) of Meadows and Victoria Gregory (Tim) of Stuart, VA; her sisters-in-law, Pat Kinipple (Richard) of Ashville, NC, Annalee Shelor of Meadows and Bernice Puckett of Stuart, VA; and her pets, Josie and Jake.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
