He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cecil Akers Handy and Beulah Marshall Handy; his children, Kevin Handy (Michelle) of Stuart, Trey Handy (Bambie) of Martinsville, Amber Huffman (Lucas Terry) of Patrick Springs, Sara Tatum of Dinwiddie, Nickie Handy of Chesapeake, Tia Strempski of South Hill, VA and Clay Gregson (Angel) of Ararat, Virginia; and his siblings, Jean Pendleton of Stuart, Patsy Fain of Stuart, Sue Collins (Jerry) of Stuart, Virginia and Cecil Handy (Freda) of Martinsville, Virginia. He was also cherished by 19 grandchildren.
