She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Bell Johnson and Frederick Douglass Hall; and her husband William Taylor Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Ida Lynn Taylor Brooks (Henry) and David Wilmont Taylor (Geralyn); her stepchildren, Bessie, Rose May, Corrine, Sarah, William Jr. and Zelma; her grandchildren, Phylicia Appling, Jonathan Davis, Jessica Brooks, Henry Brooks II and Alexis Brooks; her great grandchildren, Olivia Davis and Brooklyn Stewart; her siblings-in-law, Valerie Johnson, Helen Johnson, Alvenia Johnson and Stanley Williams; her godchildren, Audrey Mills and Andre Johnson II; and her close friend Cordelia Williams. She is also survived by nieces, and nephews, relatives and friends.
