Sheila Marie Hearne Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sheila Marie Hearne of McLean, Virginia, who passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her stepfather William Mitchell; her father Theodore A. Sheets; and her brother Christopher A. Sheets. She is survived by: her mother Wilma J. Mitchell of Chambersburg, PA.; her stepsiblings, Brian Mitchell (Penny), Lori Odom (Dennis), Kevin Mitchell (Marie) and Matthew Mitchell; her husband Gregory Hearne; and her children, John Mills-Hearne (Esther), Meggan Edwards (Stephen), Joshua Hearne (Laura), Mercedes Ferraro and Mikayla Hearne. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.

For several years, their focus area was the Republic of Haiti where the Foundation maintained an apartment/office until COVID-19 and internal violence precluded travel.
