It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robin Hannay Nelson of McLean, Virginia, who passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Hannay and Joan Anderson Hannay. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Nelson; her son Lorrin; and her granddaughters, Esmae and Marisse.

Seven years after her first symptom and gradual decline, her Alzheimer's disease advanced rapidly, depriving her of motor control and unable to eat or drink.
