He is survived by: his mother Theresa A. Marquardt; and his brothers, Armand Marquardt and Vincent Marquardt (Nancy).

“I have such fond memories of Paul and of our families times together. We looked at Cherry Blossoms, we went to Rehoboth Beach, had cookouts, went fishing and spent numerous New Year's Eves at the Marquardt's home. We shared smart Fathers who worked at the Naval Research Laboratory and discovered and invented numerous things that are still in use to this day. I am glad they became friends and I am glad to have grown up knowing Paul and your entire family.......Hugs....Laura Giuliani Lamb”
