She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Grace Gowen and Joseph Patrick Gowen; her children, Helen J. Lawrence, David W. Ridgeway, Daniel Ridgeway and Marcia Ridgeway; and her siblings, Joseph Gowen, James Gowen, Nellie Werking and Elsie Graves.
She is survived by: her children, Lawrence M. Ridgeway and Christine A. Schuhart of Mechanicsville, MD. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
