She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jim Phillips and Gertrude Phillips; her husband Carlton Alexander Barrett, Jr.; her grandson James "Jimmy" Edwin Lewin, III; her sister Elizabeth "Betsy" Russell; her children, Carol Lewin (Jim), Carlton Alexander Barrett, III and Mary Peksa (Tim); and her grandchildren, Nicolle Peksa, Victoria Peksa, Tyler Barrett and Matthew Barrett.
