She was predeceased by: her parents, Morgan Brainard and Elizabeth Brainard (Buell); her children, Elizabeth and Benjamin; her husband James; her brother Morgan Brainard III; and her parrot Pippin.
She is survived by: her sons, James of Arlington, VA and William of Tiverton, RI; her sister Eleanor Randrup of Keene, NH; and her parrot Mali.
