He was predeceased by: his parents, Rhoda Irene (Duncan) and Robert Lynn Whitaker; his sister Annabel; and his brother-in-law Edward Eschenroeder. He is survived by: his wife Adelaide B. Whitaker; his children, Brent Whitaker (Rebecca), Alene Fisk (Michael) and Karen Doebel (Leo); his grandchildren, Marinda Whitaker, Brianna Gorretta (Jake), Duncan Whitaker (Hannah), Steven Johnson, Kyle Johnson, Reed Fisk, Kate Fisk, Monica Doebel (Arrianna) and Mary Beth Doebel; and his great grandchild Mia. He is also survived by nephews and their extended families.
