We bid farewell to Blanche Haviland Moore (McLean, Virginia), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 26, 2024 at the age of 96. Blanche Haviland touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Jacques J. Moore, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Blanche Milligan of Providence, RI and Jacques J. Moore, Jr. of Richmond, VA; her grandchildren, Jacques, J. Moore, III, Charles H. Mize, MD, Nicholas, Nathaniel Risteen and Mary Moore; her great grandchildren, August and Hope Risteen; and her sister Eileen Finegan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Luke's Catholic Church (7001 Georgetown Pike, McLean, VA 22101). A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Quantico National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation in honor of her late husband, Jacques J. Moore, Sr. at National Parkinson Foundation Gift Processing Center, PO Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018.
