She is survived by: her son David (Sara Jaffe); her granddaughters, Hannah, Nora of Arlington and Virginia; her son Andrew Ostroff of Brooklyn; and her brothers, Herb Ryen (Lois) of Durham and Jerry Ryen (Linda) of New Haven. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
