It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Apolonia Encarnacion Estilo (McLean, Virginia), who passed away on October 18, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pastor and Jacinta Vales Encarnacion of Santa Isabel; her husband Dr. Bernardo Solis Estilo; and her siblings, Teofila, Miguel, Leonides, Felicisima, Bienvenida, Eliseo, Cirilo, Soledad, Apolinario and Teotimo.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Estilo Owczarski (John) of McLean, VA, Michelle Estilo Kaiser (Michael) of Ho-Ho, Jeanne Estilo Widerka (Kenneth) of New York, NY and Alvin Estilo (Aileen Estavillo) of Monroe Township, NJ; and her grandchildren, Kat, Jack, Kelly, James Owczarski, Nicole, Cindy, Christopher Kaiser, Lucas, Amanda, Bethany Widerka, Laura and Lainey Estilo. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, and great grand-nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dr. Estilo's honor to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Georgetown University School of Medicine, the American Heart Association, or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
