He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann Tucker of Dinwiddie, VA; his caregivers, Yolanda Tucker of Chester, VA, Tabitha Rhodes (Rodney, Sr.) of Church Road, VA and Brenda Graves of Emporia, VA; his sons, Walter Graves of Henrico, VA, James Tucker (Ronotta) of Henrico, VA and Bruce Tucker (Veronica) of Henrico, VA; his grandchildren, Maurice Prosise (Kellie), Charles Coles, Jr. (Katonya), Darius Prosise, Avontè Chavis (Gareth), JèQuan Tucker (Jerkia), Rodney, Jr., Michael, Khristopher Rhodes, D'Avion Tucker, Shacurah Hardy, Destiny Chavis, Alexandria Rhodes and Madison Tucker; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Kaleiyah, Lyric, Lyra Prosise, Za'vion, Chance Coles, Ka'Dharius Prosise and Zane Tucker; his siblings, Cleveland Tucker (Ernestine) of Dinwiddie, VA, Landon Tucker (Annie) of Stony Creek, VA and Lucille Hall (Bobbie) of Carson, VA; his siblings-in-law, William Beasley of Petersburg, VA, Earnest Beasley (Mary) of Petersburg, VA, Harold Beasley (Patricia) of Petersburg, VA, Nelson Beasley (Angela) of Petersburg, VA, Calvin Beasley (Deborah) of Petersburg, VA, Lester Beasley (Annette) of Chester, VA, Albert Perry of Phoenix, AZ and Mattie McNeil of Chester, VA; and his cousins, Milton Reed of Jarrett, VA and Mary Brock of Richmond, VA. He is also survived by nephews and other family members.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joseph M. Johnson & Son Funeral Home-Petersburg (530 S Sycamore St, Petersburg, VA 23803). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Gravel Run Baptist Church (12512 Duncan Rd, Petersburg, VA 23803). A repast was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at the same location.
