He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Laura Craig Smith and James Henry Smith; his children, Rhonda Jenkins (Edward), Dianne of Washington, Darryl Roberts, Horace Roberts (Hak) and Kim Zacharias (Christopher); his siblings, Debbie Smith of California, James Smith of New Jersey and Charlie Smith of New York; his aunts, Annie Pearl Coleman and Alice J Smith of McKenny; his uncle Herbert Smith (Helen); his grandchildren, Crystal Valentine, Idris Campbell, Quentin Nicholson, Iyanna Jenkins, Tyanna Jenkins, Hakim Roberts, Nakayla Roberts, Marley Roberts, Carson Roberts, Brittany Hargrove, Brianna Hargrove, Mya Brown and Dan Brown Jr.; his great grandchildren, Makhi Valentine, Kamiya Valentine, Kaleya Valentine, Amir Campbell, Asiyah Campbell, Asaad Campbell, Milan Campbell, Leilani Nicholson, Aliyah Nicholson, Avery Nicholson, Akylie Nicholson, Anaiyah Nicholson and Kanti Hargrove; his daughter Felicia Brown (Dan); and his sisters, Freda Smith and Hulda Finn. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A special thank you to the Capital Caring Hospice Care nurses and two special cousins Ruth Coleman and Cassondre Smith who took care of him during his amazing, strong fight with Parkinson's disease.
