He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Pendleton and Mary Pendleton; his siblings, Esther, Albert Jr., James Irvin (Bette), Linda Michael (Josh), Mary and Emma; and his siblings-in-law, Charmaine, Robert Dabney and James Weaver.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his siblings, Marjorie (David) and Norman (Helene); and his sisters-in-law, Delores, Brenda (Wayne) and Myrtle (Lawrence). He is also survived by Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joseph M. Johnson & Son Funeral Home - Petersburg Chapel (530 S Sycamore St, Petersburg, VA 23803). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Olive Branch Baptist Church (11119 Boydton Plank Rd, Dinwiddie, VA 23841). A burial was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Dabney Family Cemetery (9615 Boisseau Rd, Sutherland, VA 23885).
