He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Ida Mae Gilchrist (late Ernest), William Mabry and Alice Story (late Alfred); his wife Deaconess Rosa Mabry; his children, Gwendolyn Mabry-House (Quincy), Carol Taylor (Troy), Rosalyn House (William) and Eric Mabry (Tare); his grandchildren, Shontel Whitfield (Patrice), Shonnel Atkins (Eric), Brandon Taylor, Tierra Taylor, Sh'Nya House, Johnathan Mabry, Tyler Mabry, Jalanie Jiggets and Torrie Smith; his great grandchildren, Jaydon Taylor, Kamryn Whitfield, Jordon Taylor, Kai Whitfield, Laila Atkins, Payton Taylor, Paris Taylor, Aubree Atkins, Channing Atkins and Dae'Vion Castel; his sister Gloreen Thomas (late Lorenzo); his godson Reverend Alexander Williams; and his siblings-in-law, Martha Shell, William Beasley (late Carleen), James Shell (Edna), Gary Shell (Mary), George Shell (Gladys) and William Shell (Nancy). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
All floral arrangements are welcomed; however, monetary donations are preferred for the Rocky Mount Baptist Church "Pavilion Project" in honor of Deacon John Mabry – 24901 Ridge Road McKenney, VA 23872.
