It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Tyrone Coleman of McKenney, Virginia, born in Petersburg, Virginia, who passed away on June 21, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pathenia Coleman and Eddie Barber; and his siblings, Barbara Wyche, Patricia Coleman, Ann Taylor and Edwin Coleman.
He is survived by: his children, Marcus, Tyrone Coleman (Vicki) of Richmond, Kim Johnson of Maryland, Shaun Mitchell of Petersburg and Terry Coleman of North Carolina; his wife Mary Coleman; his half-sisters, Brenda and Deidra Barber of New York; and also Eddie Barber, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
