He was predeceased by: his parents, William Franklin and Gertrude S. Townsend. He is survived by: his wife Rita M. Townsend; his children, Lisa Townsend McCall and Jeremy Townsend of McKenney; his grandchildren, Wesley, Kensley and Emberleigh; and his siblings, Diane McAllister, Travis Townsend (Robin) and Ryan Townsend (Cindy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
