It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bettie Street of McKenney, Virginia, who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thadius Jones and Violet Jenkins Jones; her son Ronnie Street; and her siblings, Gaynell Cooke, Maybell Street, Joseph Lee, Lawrence, Lazarus and Benjamin Jones.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy; her caregivers, Janice, Jeffery, Norman (Sandy) and Herbert Street (Barbara); and her grandchildren, Chante Crawley, Marvin Wynn Jr., Alphonso, Veronica, Quentin Goodwyn, Tiara Beasley, Jeffery Mason, Jenay Fisher, Amya Street and Tiara Street. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Petersburg Chapel - Joseph M. Johnson & Son Funeral Home (11107 Doyle Blvd, McKenney, VA 23872). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Level Baptist Church (14920 Courthouse Rd, Dinwiddie, VA 23841).
