He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Daniel and Viola Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Daniel; his children, Sheila Daniel, Arthur Clay "Artie" Daniel, Jr., David Lee Daniel and Stephen West Daniel; his grandchildren, Ashley Daniel, Lisa Gillam and Dana Gill; and his great grandchildren, David Stephens, Kelsey Elmore, Claire Elmore, Hayley Gill, Taylor Gill, Nicholas Gillam and Addison Gillam. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Old Hickory Volunteer Fire Department, 25813 Courthouse Rd, Stony Creek, Virginia 23882.
