It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Davis Johnson (McKenney, Virginia), who passed away on December 15, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Davis and Nellie Davis; her husband Samuel Johnson; her sons, Leon Johnson and James Johnson; her siblings, Dorothy Davis, Lois Brown, Louise Page, Edna Davis, Thomas Davis, Gordon Davis, Franklin Davis and Wilbert Davis; and her nieces, Shirley Paige and Connie Dagner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Alice L. Johnson and Glory Johnson of Petersburg, Virginia; her stepson Robert Johnson; her brother Emmett Davis (Queen); and her daughter-in-law Marlene Johnson. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and four great-great Grandchildren; several nieces.
