He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Payne and Rachel Payne. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Martin (Showalter); his daughters, Kathy Lovaas (James) and Pam Carlson (Chris); his sister Judy Briggs (Tom); his grandchildren, Michael Lovaas (Laurie), Christopher Carlson (Breanna), Laura Crampton (Taylor), Molly Berger (Kyle) and Thomas Carlson; and his great grandchildren, Mason Lovaas, Haley, Mason Berger, Jackson and Maddox Carlson. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
