He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmo Brannock and Joyce Brannock (Nuckolls); and his nephew Scott Felts. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Brannock (Baylor); his daughter Heather Ream (Brannock); his son-in-law Matthew; his granddaughters, Lidia of McGaheysville and Vayda of McGaheysville; his brother Randy Brannock (Irene); his sisters-in-law, Jane Lucas (Neil) and Betty Meredith (Jack); his nieces, Erin Tinaro (Philip) and Kelly Dunnagan (Eric); his cousin Diann Boyd (Ray); and his pet Max.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Charlton and Groome Funeral Home (619 Lifecore Dr, Fishersville, VA 22939). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Charlton and Groome Funeral Home (619 Lifecore Dr, Fishersville, VA 22939).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Augusta Regional SPCA (PO Box 2014, Staunton, VA, 24402), where he has adopted several wonderful dog companions over the years.
