We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2023, at the age of 87, Syvilla Dofflemyer Hensley of McGaheysville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Oscar Dofflemyer and Mary E. V. Dofflemyer (Hawkins); her husband Douglas Odell Hensley; and her siblings, Connie Lam, Linda Shifflett, Peggy Sipe, Aline Nieswander, Christine Breeden, Gene Dofflemyer, Randy Dofflemyer and Dickie Dofflemyer.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Cline (Kenny) of Mt. Sidney, Douglas Hensley (Renea) of Elkton and Lori Crawford (Todd) of Grottoes; her grandchildren, Meghan Boyce (Matt), Kendrah Cline (Sara), Chad Hensley (Jessi), Monica McGee (Brandon), Savanna Crawford and Lindsay Crawford; and her sisters, Carolyn Breeden, Joyce Hansbrough, Sandra Hensley and Barbara Breeden. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
