She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Simmons and Edna Rose Hedrick Simmons; her daughter Lynette Meadows; and her husband Garth Kagey. She is survived by: her grandson Charles Meadows (Rachel) of Shenandoah; and her great grandchildren, Dawson and Hudson Meadows.
